HEALTH CARE BY 'CASH FOR CLUNKERS'

The much vaunted “Cash for Clunkers” program, brought to you by president Obama and the Democratic Congress, has run into a bit of trouble. It was envisioned that the $1 billion allotted to the program would fund approximately 250,000 automobile purchases. Yet, within a week of starting the program has already run out of money and over 25,000 “deals” were awaiting approval by the federal government. The House approved $2 billion in additional funding for the program last Friday, an increase that would bring the cost of the program to 300% of its projected cost within one week.
