Over at the popular Canadian blog "Blazing Cat Fur", Arnie* tells the story of his 84-year-old mother's encounter with medical care in Canada's principle city ["New York run by the Swiss," as Peter Ustinov called it], consisting of 18 hours, most of it spent in a corridor, which is a great place to meet people when you're half naked and they're looking for a place to dump their adult diapers.
